Daniel Hill began his directing career in 1998 by producing safety videos for Willamette Industries at their facility in Albany Oregon.
In 2002 he began working on his first documentary film called Discovering the Oregon Coast, which has been broadcast on Oregon Public Broadcasting.
In 2006 he began producing his second documentary called Heceta Head Light house which has also been broadcast extensively on OPB since June of 2011.
His third film is called Bohemia Gold Mines, which documents the gold rush in Cottage Grove Oregon, and has also been broadcast on OPB.
Filming on the second version of his fourth documentary called The King of Roads, is already underway, but the completion date will not be until the spring of 2022.
